That chart is the stuff dreams are made of!
All right, here’s some Q’s.. rub your crystal balls and spit out some wisdom.
**When is the GME rocket gonna launch?
**What is the ceiling of share prices gonna be?
10k is not even close to a reasonable sell limit
Maybe.. or maybe just the idea of them splitting stock is a sour thought.
I didn’t downvote you, bud
Isn’t CNBC in bed with Citadel?
Congratulations, fren!!! Nothing like hearing spring peepers in the evening!
I understand that people have made money in the crypto market. And if I win the lottery I might buy some just because.
Here’s why I haven’t bought in to this point.
*Seems like a Ponzi scheme.
*Was created in part to circumvent established global market.
*Lots of shady business deals done with crypto.
*I am skeptical of everything
*Dont like putting money into something that doesn’t truly exist
*Crypto is electric money. No electric = no money
*I can grow crops, raise animals, brew beer, and shoot straight.. if the SHTF, I would not trade any of my skills for digital money.
There’s solid opinions both sides of this argument. Don’t wanna open that can, dude. I personally just stay away from it
I’ve only been trading for a couple months now, this forum is a good place to learn.
And it is helpful watching videos, reading blogs, watching market-watch type shows and the business channels on tv.
I sold just about everything and bought GME. Lots of people here are hoping that rocket launches soon. And I’m hodling my GME because I believe it’s at base a $600 stock and it should settle there after the
My work buds day trade, and they all have different goals. Seems like it’s common among them to have a few long positions like Lockheed Martin, Tesla, Apple, etc, and a few short positions that they ride for a day or two and don’t get too attached to the company.
Exercise your brain... stay in touch with both political and market climate...
ex: when COVID regulations are projected to lighten up people will travel more, might be a good time to invest in hotels, cruise ships, airlines, etc.
Ex: If a company puts out a notice that they are hiring a new hot shot VP of marketing, or opening up a new manufacturing plant, chances are they are on an upswing and their business will improve.
I can’t opine about crypto, because I think it’s junk. But a lot of people like it.
My favorite investment is property. Rental homes and land. But then you have to deal with that responsibility.
Just learn as much as you can, and only bet with what you’re willing to lose. Also, understand that this entire system is corrupt. I’m hoping to make a ton of money on GME and buy more property
The PACT Act will be enacted soon. Will prohibit shipping vape and flower cannabis products to consumers. Will force consumers to use brick n mortar stores.
PLNHF might be worth a look. They are ‘consumer experienced based’.. like the big Cabela’s store has a walk-thru aquarium, shooting games, 3-D archery, and a cafe, except for pot.
GGTTF is a Canadian cannabis holding company. Penny stock, has a few good companies in their portfolio.
TD Ameritrade, Vanguard, Fidelity all have over a trillion$$ in assets and an internal clearinghouse. So your money is not going to third party firm.
Their apps might not throw confetti whenever you make money, but your money may be safer with them.
And the news will blame it on a boat blocking the Suez Canal.
Your comment is exactly why I remain skeptical.
SEC rules say that companies can initiate a share recall 60 days before Annual General Meeting. GameStop’s AGM is June 10, 2021. If this happens, they can force the investment firms to cough up the shares, or the cash.
I don’t like datefagging, so don’t take this as that, but it is one example of something that can happen to push the event.
Another thing is what u/DesireLiberty said. The first firm to cut their losses will likely create a chain reaction.
Everything is corrupt. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors, or after hours.
We are talking about potentially the largest exchange of wealth in history. These things don’t happen overnight. And power is never just given up. It must always be wrestled away.
We must honestly evaluate both ends of this spectrum, hope for the best outcome for ourselves, and hold the line. To believe that the best we can do it triple our investment is foolish, because there is a real chance we can become gorillainaires.
Disclaimer; I am new to investing, but I have been very focused on learning as much as I can about this stock in particular. Much of the following opinion is based on many videos, blogs, and opinions I have researched. And none of it is financial advice.
There is a legitimate potential for life changing money here. If you hodl long enough you could possibly score 7-digit calls. You just have to hodl. And then hodl longer. Do not settle for less than 6-digits.
It could go to $1000 and then a week later be $100,000. The only way it climbs if retail investors HODL and force the price up.
From what I understand, (please correct me if I’m wrong) the hedge funds and backing firms MUST buy these shares back. And the only way around this is if many commerce laws are changed.
I am by nature a skeptic. And I remain skeptical about all of these ‘to the moon’ hype posts.. however, the potential is real. Many hedge funds are underwater because of this one stock.
I have read that behind the scenes some HF are teaming up to sink their competition who have been caught up selling massive amounts of naked shorts.. now, Wall Street seems to be a vicious business arena and these bigly rich companies do not trust each other... but they smell blood in the water and are most likely trying to figure how to split the spoils of war amongst the survivors.
It is also very possible that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Your children’s children could be studying this one event in college economics classes.
The only way this stock turns into life changing money is if we all hodl like our lives depend on it.
At baseline, this is a $600-800 stock. And when the space dust settles, it may end there. But GameStop is a viable company, with a good business plan, a new CEO, and the company will thrive. E-commerce, E-‘sports’, and understanding that streaming is the future of gaming, both buying, downloading, playing, etc..
‘Ape Strong’. If we all hodl, we all benefit.
I wanna see 7-digits per share before I hit the sell button! If you are tempted to sell because perhaps you see great numbers, take a deep breath and just think “LIFE CHANGING MONEY” what seems like great numbers one day could look like peanuts the next day.
Are the HF going to play nice? No, they know this is coming and they cannot stop it. They do however want to save as much cash as they can, and as we have witnessed, they’ll use every trick in the book to pay not one penny more than they have to. Do not give in to their games. Their Game is about to Stop.
They made a bet that GameStop was going to go out of business.. then they doubled down on that bet.. then they tripled down on that bet. And got caught.
Some folks want to pay off their car. And that’s nice. Some want to take a nice vacation. Some want to buy a piece of property. Those things are great. And if you, and me, and the other retail investors hodl your friggin shares long enough you can do anything you want FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
Edit: (As of 8am) Pre-market high was at 4:20 EST this morning.
Ree and clear is a beautiful thing. Lambo made tractors!?? That’s great!
I just want to buy all the bordering farms. And then the ones surrounding that..
Property and land is also a good long term investment. Steady growth. Tractor fun. Freedom.
If I get super rich and don’t have to worry about money or work anymore, I might consider a run for office.
What is that market cap number? Seems like a made up number. Like a gorilla-jillian dollars
I know a guy who has a farm. He is always underwater because he feeds his animals top quality food and heats the barn. And makes a lot of tractor repairs.
Another guy I know has rental properties and makes a lot of repairs. Always hires the most expensive contractor. He takes a loss on those properties.
Maybe I just read about those guys. Can’t really remember actually
