I actually had a limit sell order this morning at 113 based on pre-hours trading price. My family pulled me away from computer right as market opened.was very surprised to come back and find the trade went through at almost 121
I do my investing through TD which I believe is hooked up to AmeriTrade - a limit sell order requires you to enter the number of shares you want to include and those shares are locked from any other orders. (you will get an error about now having enough shares)
With TDA, you need at least $25k in your account to make this a non-issue. If you have less than that, the only real solution is to not use up all your capital in a single trade.
This happened to me on Etrade. I bought DWAC at 14.50 and sold at 157. I bought and sold a few more times and I got locked out until tomorrow, I think. Turns out they did me a favor because I thought it was going to go way up today.
Lots of trades going on. Could be sells, could be buys. Means that it will skyrocket or plummet.
Activity, trades either selling or buying. Perspective...Microcrap traded at 12 on Friday .
This stock is amazing! It's volatile & bullish. I love it!
Apparently a fuck ton of people set up a sell at 120. Now it has to pick up steam again.

Can you do limit sell orders on a percent of your stocks or is it all or nothing?
