Wish I had more money in my Binance account, I'd but more. Kinda wished I would have waited before buying what I did today, but whatever.

It took me until my second major dip to realize the value and importance of having a reserve of funds specifically for these events. I also learned to invest incrementally so that I always have more to spend in the event prices should fall like now.

Yeah, by the time I have the funds, this dip will be over. :(

A pain I understand all too well. I had that happen to me for several weeks. It never failed, the damn system kept bugging out on me when the prices were down by 25% or so percent. As soon as they were 25% above baseline, bam, money coming in. But it is rising, better go all in! And then it fell again to 25% below baseline, and wouldn't you know it, I am maxed out, I guess I must wait 24 hours for it to clear before I can add more money... and just like that, it is 25% above baseline again!

I was more of a rookie back then and have learned from it. So even if whatever you do will not matter because this dip may end, rest assured that more will come. I noticed one happened on 4/20, 5/8, and then again this week.

Well, it turned out, I saved several hundred per eth due to the delay, so it worked out. :)

Yeah me too... I bought a bit on Saturday but yesterday and today I could have gotten much better prices. Oh well. It will go up eventually.

The trend is still downward as of now. Maybe hit high 20’s before the next launch. Know more in a few days to a week. Be ready. At least that what Ape wife say to my chimp ears.

I can't understand how so much value is being lost... there isn't that many paper handed investors in bitcoin....

It will go back up even greater than before. It always does. Sometimes takes a while but usually just a few days. Maybe a little longer this time but it will still go back up in the long run.

There have been a growing number of people sell out their BTC specifically due to some unfolding drama, surely that may play a role. It definitely comes as a surprise after being told by everyone how it will never go back down and how it will only ever gain value over time.

I’m not in crypto but when my buddy who dabbles in it and has made money told me Bitcoin crossed a trillion dollars of market cap last week I damned near chorted beer out my nose. You could own a lot of really top tier companies with a trillion dollars. If I had a trillion bucks I’d much rather own Exxon, Goldman and JPMorgan outright (less than a trillion aggregate market cap) than own all the bitcoin in circulation.

Of course. They have all the institutional framework and infrastructure. That's pure power. With BTC you'd have to convert it. You wouldn't be alive long enough to convert a trillion dollars worth of BTC

Any way to set up a limit buy type situation with crypto without using some dumb broker?

Binance allows limit and stop limit trading without a minimum balance. Just need cover fee is all. Probably can also use their API to build a service that could perform this function too. Same with GitKraken or with Coinbase API.

I converted my Bitcoin savings over to Bitcoin Cash just in time. I only lost around $1,300 vs what could have happened.

I'm posting this now since Bitcoin just went below $40k. I would suggest staying away from Bitcoin for the time being.

Doge, BCH, Dot, & ADA.

I'm worried about a BTC crash but I'm still holding. Uncertain world needs crypto.
