What did you swap over to or what do you recommend as an alternative?

A company based in a Chinese territory is definitely not a suitable alternative.

Robinhood?

You can't possibly be referring to that trading app that went out of its way to throttle GME trades in order to explicitly help the hedge funds and depress the price of the stock in a blatant case of stock manipulation, can you?

Yea RH is cool for the avg user. Why where you trying to sell gme anyway? What, you a paper handed bitch?

No, I'm saying that Robinhood is a service everyone should be jumping off of because it definitely doesn't have the investors best interests in mind.

Opinions on bitforex? I haven't had any issues with them so far, and I like their interface.

Only thing is you can't buy crypto there directly with usd, you have to deposit it. So buy crypto elsewhere and send to bitforex. They're based overseas and don't give up data for tax stuff as far as I'm aware. I've only given them my email, no phone or Identity verification.

Use Coinbase Pro for trading. Its much cheaper. If you have an account with Coinbase, you automatically get an account with Coinbase Pro. The fees for Pro are a fraction and amongst the cheapest you'll find. Also I prefer the Pro UI. Coinbase interface is really dumbed down.
